Outreach Educators work independently to bring captioning to people with hearing loss. Networking is key. We work locally to get the word out that there is a captioning solution for everyone who struggles to hear over the phone. We attend trade shows and conferences to raise awareness of captioning solutions.
Other responsibilities include:
OEI Installers conduct on-site installations of CapTel products in an individual’s home or in their office setting. Installers require a working knowledge of home network technology. Often times, installers interact with a user’s telecommunications service to provide the optimal environment for captioning. Training is provided.
OEI Coordinators work from a centralized location in Santa Monica, California to support OEI management and our national outreach team. Coordinators are required to be highly organized and detail oriented, with proficiency in MS Office and a positive attitude.
